Book traffic control
In short: Use the booking form if you already have an account and agreed rates with East Coast Traffic Control and want crews or a plan on a date. Use the quote form if you are a new client or need a price before committing. In both cases the request goes to the Area Manager for the depot nearest your site, who confirms the crew and the plan.
Booking form or quote form?
Booking request (this page)
You have an ECTC account and agreed rates. Lodge the site, dates, hours and works and we schedule it.
Quote request
You are new to ECTC, or the job needs pricing or a plan first. Takes a minute and your local Area Manager replies.
Urgent jobs
Phone 1300 011 203 or your Area Manager's mobile. Do not rely on a form for a job that starts in hours.
What to include in a booking
The more the request tells us, the fewer calls back. Include the site address or location, the requested dates, hours and whether the works are day or night, a short description of the works (lane closure, shoulder works, intersection, event), your company name and site contact, and whether an approved TMP or TGS already exists. Mention any after-hours start, remote location or TMA requirement so the right vehicles are allocated.
What happens after you book
The request lands with your Area Manager
Bookings are routed by site location to the depot that will staff the job.
Crew and plan are confirmed
The Area Manager confirms the crew, the equipment and, if needed, the TMP or TGS revision with our planning team, and comes back to you with the details.
Crew on site
The crew arrives with the briefed plan, completes the pre-start and runs the setup. Daily dockets record the hours for invoicing.
Common questions
Should I use the booking form or the quote form?
Booking form if you already have an ECTC account and agreed rates and simply need crews or a plan on a date. Quote form if you are new to ECTC or need pricing or a plan before you commit. Either way the request goes to the Area Manager for the depot nearest your site.
How much notice does a booking need?
As much as you can give, but short-notice work is normal for us. Crews and equipment are kept at each regional depot, so short-notice jobs are worth a call. For anything starting within 24 hours, phone 1300 011 203 or your Area Manager rather than relying on the form.
Can I book a traffic management plan without crews?
Yes. If you only need a TMP or TGS, email planning@ectc.com.au or use the quote form and say plan only. Our planning team prepares plans to TMR and TfNSW requirements for clients who run their own crews as well as for jobs we staff.
Will someone confirm my booking?
Yes. Your Area Manager confirms the crew, the start time and any plan work by phone or email before the job. If you have not heard back and the job is close, call 1300 011 203 so the depot can check the request.
