What to include in an enquiry
For a quote we need the site location or suburb, the requested dates, whether the works are day or night, and a sentence on what the job is (lane closure, shoulder works, event, utility). If you already have a TMP or TGS, attach it or mention who prepared it. Your local Area Manager replies to quote requests; the general contact form goes to the sales team.
Common questions
What is the fastest way to get traffic control for tomorrow?
Phone. Call 1300 011 203 or the Area Manager's mobile for your region, listed above and on each location page. Have the site address, start time, day or night, and the works description ready. Short-notice jobs are routine for our depots because crews and equipment are kept locally.
Which email do I use for a traffic management plan?
Send plan and TGS enquiries to planning@ectc.com.au with the site address, a description of the works, the dates and the road authority or council involved. If the plan is part of a job we are also staffing, you can send everything to sales@ectc.com.au and the planning team will be looped in.
Does ECTC have an office I can visit?
The head office is at 3/30 Maud Street, Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Regional depots are working depots rather than front counters, so phone the Area Manager before visiting. Depot addresses are listed on the locations page and on each depot's own page.
I want a job as a traffic controller. Where do I apply?
Use the employment questionnaire on the careers page, not the contact form. It asks for your location, your current traffic controller licence and your availability, and goes to the Area Manager for your region. You need a current state licence before applying; the training page lists RTOs if you do not have one yet.
